I had heard that leatherman had a 25 year warranty so I sent my 18 year old leatherman wave in for service cause a few of the blades had broken. I purchased it in 1997 for about 70 bucks. Today I recieved a BRAND NEW wave, the new model as they said my version of that model has been retired. The new model goes for about a hundred bucks. WAY TO GO LEATHERMAN! That is the kinda service that keeps customers returning to buy your products.

Great customer service is hard to find nowadays. Sounds like they want to keep customers and get more customers as well.

It sounds like they were smart enough that it was a small investment to obtain a life-long customer.
