Hit, Fisherdog,
It was entertaining to read your posts about Big C and the night time trolling action in the last couple of weeks. I drive by Big C always on my way to Pelican and have never actually fished it before. This week could be the week for me to try it. Has slowed up a bit but people are still taking fish. I will have more first-hand info soon.

hey hit going out in the morning with buddah so you will have to call. We will be done by noon, so I can get back clean some fish then go out with you later on.

was out yesterday afternoon for a couple hours. One 19 and a handfull of slimers, but not bad for mid-day in August.

I spent a week in WA state w/ relatives that have an abundance of fishing opportunities - ling cod, salmon-salmon-salmon, and all the dungeness crab a person can put down. Asked them what they like the best and they replied, "Minnesota walleye".
I'm looking for one limit of 13-18" fish to package up and send to them as a "Thank You" for our stay and will be pillaging Big C for the bounty tonight, tomorrow morning and night. It sounds like the bite is dawn & dusk w/ a tough daytime bite. I've managed decent fishing there so far this year but haven't been out the past 3 weeks. We'll see how it goes. I'll post my success or failure.

Got out last night on Big C. Didn't expect much cuz of the could front and didn't get much either. Some smallies and missed a could of lethargic eyes. Beautiful night to be on the lake, however.
