I am staying at Roy Lake at Grandview this weekend. We have a lift on Roy Lake. Can you get to Gull from Roy or are the water levels too low? From what I have seen Roy is more of a Northern lake then a walleye lake. Anybody ever catch walleyes there?

Won't have any problem getting from Roy to Gull other than possibly dodging boat traffic through the channels. It's actually a very pretty trip down to Gull, takes about 1/2 hour, some good bass fishing along the way. Make sure you spend some time in Bass Lake just before Point Narrows (where the gas pump is) if you like fishing Pike,

Roy is mainly small pike, crappies Bass and sunnies. Some great Bass fishing along the edge of the pads. Wouldn't spend any time looking for eyes untill you hit Gull.

Have fun and enjoy the area.
