The place I get my oil changed at just changed their bulk oil to a synthetic blend. So far, I've just opted for the non-synthetic stuff from the jug. Any concerns with swapping over to a synthetic blend?

Depending on your model car, it may need synthetic blend.

I wouldn't be concerned with changing over.

you probably wont see a change in price either. I just changed the Oil in my Ranger and a jug of Motorcraft Syn blend was cheaper then the Dino oil.
