How are the smallies bitin and are still on the rocks in shallow water?

The smaller 1-3 lbs fish seemto be shallow but the big 5 pounders seems to be out in the 10-15 foot depth range

i agree with pat, we were catching them at about the same depth last week.

What presentation are using to fish em that deep?

Try tube jigs or garlic/salt infused Chompers, pitch and bounce them.

So apparently tube jigs are the undisputed king for smallies on mille lacs? Does anyone use power grubs or saber tails (crayfish imitation)? Which colors (tubes included) seem to work best?
