Cedar lake in scott county is a good tubing lake. One of the closer ones for you too. If you end up in NP come get some boards for the tree house.

Or maybe I ripped one in the car not sure. Sounds like a personal problem! I can only think of one thing YOU haven't tried. As for what lake to have fun on, I don't think it really matters if Madison/Washington are busy or not. Big lakes can handle alot more PWC's due to the shear size of the lake. The fisherman can always find a bite on the smaller quite lakes, or find a place to duck into. The fish can take a break in the "Busy" parts of the lake.
