I am considering moving my house from Mille Lacs up to a Winni resort. Are you able to keep permanents out on the lake until the middle of March in that area? Does anyone have any resorts that they recommend where you can also use your house in the summer? There are a couple of resorts on Mille Lacs that will put your house down by the lake on what is basically an RV lot. I am looking for that same type of resort, but on Winni.

Is Denny's near the town of Bena. We are thinking about moving ours down to Winnie from Red Lake. If thats the resort I'm thinking of they do allow you to use them in summer but charge a little more to do so. They also had a pretty good road plowed and helped us get our truck out from a sink hole out on the ice last year. They were pretty good people the two trips we went out of there last year.

yes denny's is near Bena.

most of the resorts have good road systems.
between them all, they cover most of the lake.

agreed! I put my house(s) out from highbanks and wouldn't have it any other way.
I think this fella was looking for winter andsummer use. that would rule out my favorite winnie resort as they dont have a lot of room for that sort of use.
they do have arguably the best view of the lake in my humble opinion!
