There is also a limited supply of suits in Green Bay Packer colors. For all you Packer fans, it's the suit for you.

The insulation for the Arctic Armor Green Bay colored suits is made out of recycled cheese heads for better floation... The suits also only come in XXXL and have a built in cooler.

Should have a built in flask.....maybe I should patent that....

Anyway, Northlander thank you for the information!

I'm same height,5 pounds heavier, and wear the same jean size. I got the large coat and the medium bibs. They fit perfectly. The jacket will have plenty of room to put several layers underneath if you wish. I would have been swimming with too much room if i got the large bibs.

I would go with a Large jacket and bibs.

Hey guys, just to update...I got to the bottom of the one post I had on here about Dick's Sporting Goods not having arctic armor....as was previously stated...they WILL carry the arctic armor but not until November. I didn't want any false info about that. A lot of the stores if you call though...have no idea they are going to carry it. smile BUT THEY ARE!

I spoke with the VP of sales who happens to be on this forum smile yesterday from I.D.I. and he was able to set me straight. Very nice to talk with you Greg! Thanks for all the help.

I normally wear an XL in everything....after reading some of the other posts I'm thinking I should drop down to a large. I'm 6'3" and weigh about 185. I'd hate to look like Steve Erkel if I went with a large.

Doop, I am about the same weight but 6" shorter. You must be a skinny dude grin Anyway, when I tried it on at the Game Fair, I fit pretty darn well in a Large, both coat and bibs. I would think that a Large coat would fit you well but an XL on the bibs would probably be better for you. From what TO told me out there, the waist doesn't get bigger, but the inseam does get longer from Large on up. Double check with them, but it might be the way for you to go. But for sure a Large coat will do you fine.

I just bought my Arctic Armor suit from Reel Fishing Outfitters. They are wonderful to work with. I would highly suggest stopping in to try the suits on in person being the jackets do run slightly larger in size. The floatation of the suit is great being I do ice fish early and late in the season. Its a nice feeling knowing if I do go through I will float. You can get ahold of the guys at Reel Fishing Outfitters at 507.243.3388 or email them at reelfish@hickorytech.net. They also have a huge spread on the Arctic Armor suits on their website www.reelfishingandtackle.com. Its well worth it to stop in and talk with the guys at Reel Fishing Outfitters in Madison Lake.
