shoreline has been good with a leech or crawler and some jig and minnow still some fish on the humps and they will start moving to the rocks here too and that should start working but al and all it has been pretty decent

Hello all, here is a report from last week on Winnie. Walleyes are being caught on the east southeast shoreline in 5-9 FOW. using cranks, crawlers and leeches. You have to work to get them. Find some weeds and there should be some eyes around. A lot of boats working that shoreline. Got some nice perch on 1 of my favorite humps, along with a couple of eyes. Even the wife and daughter caught some eyes, as my wife has not fished in years, so it was a suprise when she wanted to go out. She enjoyed herself. Water temps were low 70's
Went into cutfoot once and picked up a couple, again no deeper then 9-14 FOW. Tried a deep hump with nothing showing or biting. Got some rain on Monday nite and Tuesday. Beautiful weather, nice during the day and cool at night. A little breezy a couple of days. No bugs to speak of, and sunsets to remember.
A couple of bon fires, full moon, it doesn't get any better than that.

Glenn, it was a pleasure meeting you on Saturday at GDP. We shall have to get together this winter, By the way after going in and getting checked out, they reported a Severe chest con tusion, and not broken ribs. Took the wife out fishing after we met and made it through it, but still in pain.

High banks still have plenty of Bloody Mary's left.

yea this winter hookup would be great. maybe get lisa and jim to fess up to a secret spot or to also. glad to hear your ribs arent broke but i suppose you need to be nice to the wife for a while now. if not a little smack in the sore spot to straighten ya out. hope highbanks has a fresk supply of bloody marys this winter.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I try to spend at least 5 weekends up there in the winter. Got to get through Sept and my favorite time up there October...........

hey garyc and lisa, do ya think we should let a bass guy get invlved? sorry man had to do it. that would be a blast. need to make plans later on. sure know i gotta decide wether to spear or angle. i hate making decisions like that.

Sure why not not the more the merrier, even if his fish priorites are a little out of wack. HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
