Heading up Thur and Fri for walleye to Winni.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Was thinking
about pulling cranks. What depth is good this time

I can't help you with a fishing report, but there is another Heidi ...Not her user name posting on the "Womens site".

they have been pulling some cranks round the fats on the river channel, tamarack and bowens and doing pretty good at times in that 7-10 ft

Also, try calling or checking in with a few bait shops in the area, they might have some good info for you as well. Live bait setups with Spinner rigs or Lindy rigs might be working also.

I am sure cranks will work around humps and bars also, just might need to add inline weight to your line to get your baits down to where the fish are at.

I also was reading one of the outdoor newspapers last night, they said Humps and bars 18' to 25' for Walleye, using Lindy Rig with Leeches working well.

Hubby and I fished this lake several times before, but it has been many years now. Good Walleye lake. Sooooo.... many lakes to fish and so little time!
