I have only heard of a few muskies coming out of harriet recently. I have been fishing more on calhoun the last few weekends(off the dock due to no boat) and there has been somewhere between 8-10 muskies and a few nice northerns caught off of suckers and bobbers. There hasnt been any huge muskies caught but 1 or 2 of them were 40+ inch fish.

Sorry this isnt any help on harriet. Just thought i would let you know where i has heard of some being caught.

I fished harriet last weekend and didn't see anything. I was fishing from shore, but talked to two people in boats as they passed and they hadn't seen anything either. I had a big one follow right to shore 3 weekends ago, but now the weed cover is getting too thick.

Well I do not know if you are looking for current reports but mine is a bit old. About 30 years ago we used to catch perch off the sailboat dock. We found if we then hooked them by the dorsel fin and threw them back out we could almost always stir up a musky or three. Now back then I was to young to know that what we were doing was illegal but it did work and over the next few years it was a pretty successful method for us. Oh I could write all day on Lake Harriet reports but they would be really old. The Good old days. grin

Good Fishing!!

Was out yesterday for about 6 hours. Caught a little guy in the 20" range.

Other than that only saw 1 other fish. Wasn't a follow, it just came up next to the boat. We startled eachother and it took off. Couple seconds later it comes up from the dephs and looked square at me, then sunk back down. Goofy fish. I'd guess it was in the mid to upper 40's too.

The little guy was the only musky I've caught on Harriet. Had days where 4-6 fish follow, but just WILL NOT EAT! Spent a lot of time on her. Wonder if Harriet musky are just over pressured, and wise on us all. Yesterday there were at least 3 other boats out there musky fishing.
