Boy your right on the water dropping.. Here in Redwood the water has went down 6 inches the night before and now tonight, it was down over a foot over night. Won't be long and we will be in the same boats as last summer. We need some rain in a bad way.

USGS water tables show its dropping really fast,I have my best cattin largest flats soon after big drops and low low water,but only late 12PM - 4Am,and near the holes but not in them.

sparce you hit the time right on the head. I nailed a 47lber in franklin 2:30 am biggest cat I have ever boated and it won the frankin derby the fish was released I will follw up with pics. the old gal took a bully in 3 ft of water on a sand bar near a deep break with snags near it.

Just got home from by Skalbaken,They put boulders in the road to the river campsite (BUMMER) The water is HIGH it could go down a easy 2 ft.Had 7 runs on bullies first night none caught! Next morn seein I could'nt catch any sheepies for cut bait Tues afternoon I tried to catch some--Caught 3 flats on crawlers 3-11 lbs. 1 channel bout 2 lbs and 5 sheepies for bait.Fished all day & night NOTHIN! was stayin till Fri. but came home early High water,no fish.NEVER had luck this bad!!
