Was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to find some crappies. Never really fished for them durring the summer so any help would be great!

Well it was a great week with the family on BSL. Got on the water on Sunday evening looking around for some eyes and instead accidentally stumbled onto the crappies stacked up tight...wow! Caught 'em pretty good all week on jig and minnow, jig and crawler chunk, and the best on black plastics. Lot of fun for the family getting crappies of that size and kept a few for a couple meals. Also did troll up some of those little northerns for extra fun for them. Never did give the walleye a fair try and only caught a couple small ones while catching the crappies. Appreciate those who did send me some ideas to try. Without giving gps coordinates, the crappies I found were in about 12 foot of water in front and just a bit to the right of the pontoon with the green canopy cover. We look forward to coming back next year to your scenic lake, maybe then I can give the eyes a try also. Thanks.
