Check Lake vermilion.com website. Look under what the guides are doing. Also look under the fishing guides section. John Petruska has a fishing report on his website reel time guiding. The Fish are active but they get alot of pressure. The key is finding spots that are not obvious and hitting those non-community spots.
Good luck and enjoy the Big V.

Apparently you wanted other people to put all the work and time in and then tell you how to catch them. typical.

So, your saying that after today you won't be posting 4 different topics with the same question anymore? We're crushed.

Watch out for unmarked reefs. Would hate to hear about you bumping into one this weekend. I'm sure we'll all hear about what worked for you when you get back....or most likely not.

Come on now, no need for the attitude.
I have been to the big V hundreds of times and I have caught tons of Muskie. Spring, summer, and fall.

I just find it TYPICAL that everyone is so secretive like it is some big mystery, like your not out throwing the same lures at the same spots as everyone else. Like your not trolling the same set up off off the same reefs and drop offs as everyone else.

Just looking for some basic info, seasons change, whats new, you know.

I would say Vermilion is anything but secret. Its Minnetonka north, last weekend there was muskie guys cutting me off while I was trying to bass fish shorelines. I'll have to make a few bedspring drops this winter.....j/k.

And I do think there is every need for attitude. I grew up there and now put in a lot of time money and miles to go figure out the lakes myself. There is no way info gets handed out to just anybody. especially on a website for everyone else to read.

WOW!!! Who knew that fishing was such a serious, secretive sport. Silly me, I thought it was supposed to be fun and relaxing. I agree with Sledneck, Lake V is anything but secret. Let's have some fun out there boys!!!
