I was out there the week before last and the hatch seemed to be just starting. Fishing had slowed down considerably, but I haven't been to lida since. It may have picked up again by now.

This afternoon they were in 30-35 feet of water. Crawlers on spinner/bottom bouncer and leech/ lindy rig both got some. Do you know the principal they hired before last year? He has fished Lida a lot with me, we are high school classmates. Welcome to the site.

Hey thanks for the info. Hopefully we will be able to tie into some nice ones out there. I have never fished lake Lida before, but I grew up around the Wadena area so I have fished a lot of the lakes in that area and always looking for a new one to try. No unfortunately I don't know the new principal, but I have heard the students really like him. Thanks again for the tips maybe we will see you out the some time.

He may be out with me on Wednesday. Pretty sure he'll want to hit Lida.
