Those warriors look like they would be a sweet ride on windy days.

I have read a couple of reviews on the Warrior bass boats and they seem like they would fit a niche crowd. I think they would be better suited as Muskie boats in my opinion and most of the guys that buy them will be Muskie nuts. Why do you ask? Because the Muskie guys are more notorious for fishing big water such as Mille Lacs, Leech, Winnie, Cass, and LOTW. The Warrior bass 208XL is a heavy boat, with a hull that is similar in design to the walleye boats they have. Made to handle big water, cut through the big rollers, but still be faster than a walleye boat. They are a pretty slow hull which I believe is one reason they beefed it up to get a 300 hp (I think) rating on them. Probably be the only bass boats anyone ever sees with a kicker on them.

The 208 XRS Weighs 1900 lbs while the similar Ranger Z520 weighs 1825 so i think that the weight difference is not the big of a factor.

Rangers are notoriously slow, too, though.

Yes, they are but in my experience they are stabler, which i much prefer.

Yea it was so weird seeing that and i was just in shock. It was a sweet looking ride and i figured that it was a heavy boat. Although it didnt have the kicker on it.

There is the pic of the boat that i saw. One thing i like was how roomy it was too

I purchased a Champion 210 Elite this year with an e-tec 250HO. Previously I owned a Triton with an Optimax 225. I felt the Champion had an attractive combination of price, features, quality and an excellent hull well suited for big water. The Evinrude has been great. Champion has the same parent company as Ranger and their latest models show they have taken notice of a few layout and storage benefits found in Ranger boats.
