The 208 XRS Weighs 1900 lbs while the similar Ranger Z520 weighs 1825 so i think that the weight difference is not the big of a factor.

The 208 XRS Weighs 1900 lbs while the similar Ranger Z520 weighs 1825 so i think that the weight difference is not the big of a factor. Rangers are notoriously slow, too, though.

Yes, they are but in my experience they are stabler, which i much prefer.

I purchased a Champion 210 Elite this year with an e-tec 250HO. Previously I owned a Triton with an Optimax 225. I felt the Champion had an attractive combination of price,features, quality and an excellent hull well suited for big water. The Evinrude has been great. Champion has the same parent company as Ranger and their latest models show they have taken notice of a few layout and storage benefits found in Ranger boats.
