Has anyone been out on the big pond recently chasing? Other than Steve Jonesi, I don't know if anyone has been seeing/catching fish or not. For those of you who don't know, Steve guided a client of his to a huge 56.5" muskie last week. They still in the weeds? Has the north end started to heat up at all?

Can't really tell from the photo I have seen. Know it was the Wisconsin strain, not the Leech strain.

Does anyone know where I could see a picture of this beast? I lost a monster last summer on the north end when it would not fit in my BIL's net so I was wondering how it would compare....

the only picture that I know of right now is on Muskies First. Look under the Steve Jonesi Rocks thread and they have a pic of the fish, guide and client.

56.5x25 - WI strain - barred -
fish still in weeds - nothing on the north end - rocks are slow. fishing are moving if your in the right areas.

We've been catching fish out there on a pretty regular basis. A few lost ones as well. All of our fish are coming from the weeds. Seems to be very little going on yet on the rocks, or on the north end. Nothing huge yet...but just a matter of time!

What is the water temp on Mille Lacs?
You been getting any ski's in Waukon Bay or Vineland?

fish were a noshow in vineland today water temp 72 there were 5 boats or so and we never saw a fish or anyone else doing anything, threw the box at them, maybe next time
