Seeking contact information for Silver Muskie Lodge or The Landing. (Near Rasberry Island) Curious to know if a guy can pay to access there and also curious about staying up at Spawn Inlet Lodge. Normally I put in at either Crowrock Inlet or across from The Fisheries and motor up to walleye fish for the day, but am interested in staying up there for a few days. ????

Google "Silver Muskie"-has the info you need. Like above poster stated, you park at "The Landing" and it's about a 15 minute boat ride up to the Silver Muskie or Spahn Inlet Lodge. I have stayed at Spahn Inlet off and on for over 25 years, pretty rustic, but a very nice setting. Silver Muskie isn't cheap, Spahn is priced pretty good. Have to pay per day to pack at the landing-last I remember, it was 8.00 per day per vehicle. Number for Spahn is 807-599-2758-owner lives in Bemidji, that number is 218-243-3290. If you go, have one of the two, take you up to Trout Lake (also has longer name-can't think of it) some fantastic fishing. I haven't been up in two years, I think the size and the quanity has decreased in recent years. At Rainy, if you hit it right in the spring and fall, crappie fishing is second to none. We have been staying on the Ash River the last few years and having a good time, keeps the money in-state and you don't have to mess with customs and paying high buck for bait. Plus, $8.00 or so a day to park and paying to launch adds up to the total cost of the trip if you stay for any amount of time.
