I put 2 Berkley rod holders in my boat this spring and don't like how the rods point up in the air. My Lund has the track system in it and I mounted the rod holders to the plastic plates that attach to the track system. Does anyone know if there's an attachment I could get so the rod holder sits higher and I could point the rods towards the water more?

Thanks,
Brian

Ram, Scotty, Attwood, Cabelas all make mounts that will work. I use Rams and can get my rod tips in the water if needed. Whatever you get make sure they have a safety so your rods dont go for a swim.

I have the Berkely Rod Holders on my boat. I also installed them this spring. You ought to be able to adjust the rod angle by loosening the star nut on the side, adjusting the rod angle and retightening the star nut. At least that is the way mine work.

I'd exchange the Berkley rod holders with the pedestal-style Rams.
