Hey guys,
is there generally fishable ice around Christmas time? I know it depends on the weather...but it looks like Eastern Montana might not have enough ice for us....just trying to figure out plan B.

Any help is much appreciated!

Yep.. there's usually fishable ice by Christmas time on devils lake. You may need a 4 wheeler, but you should be able to get out.

I'm really nervous that Ft. Peck in Montana will not have ice when we head out Dec.27-31st.....I'm hoping the bay we'll be fishing will at least have walkable ice.
