8 follows, three hookups, and two fish boated. 37" and 41". found them up in shallow on what little weeds there is with this high water. I was by myself and only fished the Sabaskong area. I only found one fish on the rocks, the rest were on the weed edges and fairly docile. Caught the 41 on a Top Raider, and the 37" on the small Sandcat.

I have a couple buddies from school that want to come up for the weekend and we will be staying at the Nestor Falls Hotel all weekend, so I will have a great report on Monday.

How did you do the other day Muskiebait?

Cedar Narrows,

Unfortunately not. I have been way to busy, and the days that I have free always seem to be the days that rain and the wind blows 30+ mph. Hopefully I can con my dad into getting up and trying straw tomorrow.

Hey guys does Swell and Bleak on Rainy have any muskies? Is Redgut the closest musky water from Jackfish Bay?

Redgut, Swell, Seine, and Bleak all contain deceent populations of 'skis. I personally have only fished Seine and Redgut for musky so I don't know about the other bays. They become hard to find in the summer as they chase baitfish populations in the deep portions of the basins. Trolling is often the most effective method of finding them.

Hy Bill, Thanx for the tips the other day. We camped at Krantz point and did well on reefs and main lake drops. mostly lindy's and leeches , although spinners with crawlers worked when we got some drifting winds. Beautiful weather for camping and fishing! Brought two couples with us, they are hooked!

7thson,

It was nice meeting you the other day. Good to hear you guys got into some fish. It's not hard to get hooked on Rainy when the fish are out on the reefs and biting. You guys definately had some nice weather for camping too!

Take Care!
