Caught some nice bluegills monday morning out on west okaboji along a weedline in 16 ft. Small pink jig with a whole nightcrawler was the ticket. Caught a few smallmouth bass in the mix too. Fun morning. Anyone else having any luck?

Yea we fished the West side Sunday due to the pesky winds. Ran from the North end to Templar and back several times. We fished from 7am till around 4.

Bluegills (8-9.5") are still biting along weedlines in 15-20ft. garden worms or belgium worms have worked best. Picking up some nice bonus walleyes and smallmouth.

We were up on West Tuesday morning and brought home about 20 nice gills. Unlike most years at this time, we had to do some searching to find the nicer sized ones, but being willing to search through a variety of locations and depths made a big difference. Planning to do more of the same over the next couple of weeks.

Anybody been out lately? Can you share any spots or lure/color choices?
