Big Pike on Pool 6 w/ Report

My brother and I made it out friday evening for some awesome bass fishing. The swimjig and frog bite has been very impressive. Ended up catching about 30 largemouth and 6 northerns. The problem when fishing swimjigs those northerns love em and the picture below fell victim to a black/blue swimjig. We have been doing a lot of push poling to get back to some of these areas waiting for the incredible slop bite to happen, still a little off though. Most of the fish I am finding are on backwater cuts with current or current on cut banks. The pike below measured out at 40 1/2 inches.

very nice pike. ive been pulling a lot of 3-4lbs bass out of pool 6 on tubes and have hooked into a bunch of nice pike too. last wed during a local tourny i caught a 36 inch pike that was really fat. i need a new camera though since i drowned my last one.
