Camping at Island lake this weekend. East of Detroit lakes off of Hwy 34... Been on the lake once but never fished it. Any help would be appreciated. Walleye, Northern, Bass, Panfish. Just want to catch and release a few fish with the lady. She missed a few catfish last night in the Red River so shes frustrated... Gotta get her back into it. THANKS

I hear Island is an awesome walleye lake at times.
Hope you do well. It is one of the lakes we talk about, but never get to. Give us a report.

Try the point off of Valhalla Resort. Also come prepared for some of the best sunny/bluegill fishing around. Eat the pan fish have fun with the eyes.

Thanks guys, Will try Valhalla as that is where we are staying too.... Would love to hit some eyes and would love to grab some gills and sunnies too. Report when I get back !!!!!
Hitman, bought a camper at Lee Lake Resort so will be closer to the lakes and you in the summer. Have to tag team some of the local waters.
