I'm going to be up there from So IL the week of July 19th thru 26th. I tried to book Ross Hagemeister as a guide for OT (staying at Holly's) but he was booked solid. I'm on the cancelations list. Has anyone EVER heard of someone canceling? If not can someone personally recommend another guide? I hear Meister guide is the best on OT. I need to learn how to fish the Walleyes on OT. My gramps used to pull them out right and left when he had his cabin at the corner of the BAlmoral creek in the 60's and 70's. Unfortunately, none of us ever asked him how. I'd like to learn. any recommendations certainly welcome...

I had a few guys go out with a guide named Justin Litefoot. It was a last minute deal and Ross suggested him. They caught fish and were very happy with their trip.

If Ross is booked, which does not surprise me as he is great. My uncle uses a guide that I am not sure of the name, but he just returned from OT and did really good. I am checking with him on a name and number and either he or I will post it for you.

Pullinplugs,
Any idea how to locate Justin Litefoot. I can't find anything on the internet.

Thanks for the help.

Reggie ~ My uncle finally got back to me and the guide he uses is a guy named Gene, but he is booked up. My uncle said give Gene's Sporting Goods in Perham, Mn and they should be able to hook you up with a guide. Sorry I do not have a number for you.

Try Trevor Johnson, his Dad owns Vacationland Resort and I know he has guided on OT before.

If you can not get a hold of Justin he does have a website or try on of the local bait shops on OT. I do know that he does use on of them quite often.

There is a guide by the name of Tom Macheledt that guides Otter Tail and the surrounding lakes.

Sorry if anyone got into trouble. I guess I was inquiring about someone's business that isn't a sponsor. I can't think of any other rules that I broke.
