Who was out on the water for the fireworks drove by there and was amazed with how many boats were out in front of the channel. How long does it take you to get back to the cabin out out of the boat launch with that many boats in the dark. Fireworks looked great as we slowly drove by hope everyone was safe and had a good time. I just couldn't believe how many boats were stacked up out there.

I was out there. However, I stayed a good 500 yards away from the main group of boats just inside of Rush Lake. I was the second boat in the channel heading toward Whitefish so for me it was easy. This was my first year out there. I have heard that screaming matches / actual fights is a regular event after the fireworks as people are moving through the channels though.

I was told at the gas station (moonlight) that it happened around 2:30 or 3:00 in the morning. There were still employees there cleaning up. Also heard it did not look suspicious. But this is all second hand.

My wife banged up her shoulder that day and the pain got the best of her, so I brought her to Crosby at precisely 3:30am and saw the blaze and smoke in full swing. Not a pretty sight.
