This is a fun time, A buddy and I have done this for the past 3 years and it is a blast. Its the only time of the year were you say "get the net its a big one" for a sheepy. or "the pesky walleyes wont leave me alone". All in all its a fun time and usually get to meet some new people.

We have entry forms at our store. Here's the information:

Saturday July 26 from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM
Place: North Shore Park
$5 for anyone 16 and over
This is not a catch and release tournament. Keep all Sheephead caught and bring to the weigh-in. A local person keeps all of them and puts them in the garden.

Trophies in two categories: 15 & younger and 16 & older.

It's a lot of fun.

Call us if you have additional questions.

Joe

Total weight. Biggest fish goes to "Kiss a fish contest". If you're fishing with a kid, keep your fish separate. This is a fun contest but when an adult has mixed his fish with his kid's, it has led to some grumbling.

So if two of us fish in the boat, we should keep our fish seperate right?

Sounds like fun, and thanks for the info on the tourney you mailed me. I am hoping to make it up but and struggling to get my buddies to go, that darn thing called work keeps getting in their way.
