Going up to Big SAndy this weekend for the first time in two years to relax and catch me some fish for a well needed vacation. Im on the northwest side of the lake. Any tips on what to use and where to catch em. Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Big Sandy has actually produced some nice smallies this year! I seen a 3-4lb on opener and a few produced over the fourth. Yep pretty soon the bass boys will be out there....

They are still more of a fluke fish, than something you would want to target if you ask me.

Amazing that there arent more in the lake. Even if it were largemouth it would be nice.

I've always wondered why/how there aren't alot of bass in that lake. Once the smallies are in there though it won't be long before there are alot of them. Yep, gotta get up there sometime soon. smile
