Hit the water this morning with a friend in pursuit of smallies. Started between Prescott and Kinnie about 5:30 or so. Was a real good morning for both numbers and size. I suppose we boated about 50 smallies, 3/4 were the typical Croix cookie cutter 13-14" smallies, but we did manage 10 or so over 16" with a couple pushing 19" All fish were caught shallow on the rock, all big fish were surprisingly tight to the banks in less than 2' of water, but with deep water very close. Can't wait to do it again.

Both tube jigs and wacky rigged 5" stick baits, senko's and the like. A couple on the X-raps as well. Didn't try topwater but that should be going too I would think?
