Good luck with that. I left at 10:30 this morning at the sheriff's launch and they were backed up about ten deep already.

I was on big marine yesterday and it got rather silly by about 1PM. too many boats with the stereos cranked shooting water cannons. I was either going to get run down or swamped.

I was not out there, but drove buy the lake on hwy 15. There was one shore that I could see had 200+ boats along it. All the places where you can park a trailer around Mound etc. had a trailer parked at it.

I watched fireworks from waconia and there was plenty of traffic there as well. Adam

I brought a potato gun out there and the conservation officer was not really amused with me.

The 4th is one day that is better left to the pleasure boaters. The rest belong to the fisherman smile

True, but you can always practice you casting accuracy on moving targets smile.

But seriously, on the 2nd i come up to a spot i was just scouting out and when i put down the trolling motor 4 boats that were about 1-4 hundred feet away were all trolling within casting distance of me. I literally had to dodge boats with every cast. And no, i wasn't on their trolling lines. Once a boat came within 5 feet of my stern i was just about ready to "accidentally" crank the main motor right in their faces. I would of but they had a 5 year old in their boat.

I cannot stand fishing Tonka during Pleasure boat time.

I wish for rain and cold weather.

I was out there on 7/3 and it was insane. Big Island and Bracket's point are pleasure boaters high traffic area. They wave at you as they are cruising by 30 feet away. Well some wave, some just give the horn then won't look at you when they pass by. I wish I was a millionaire - just want to fit in on that lake - sheesh!
