I will be out on French tomorrow for the early am bite with my son. I plan on being in the water by 6:30am.
I don't know if you will be at place you are staying that early in the am, but if you are, gimme a call.
Otherwise, I will be out there again in the evening for the lakes fireworks, and again sometime Saturday and Sunday.

Shall we change the topic to Sheep herder?

Jamison, you can catch Sheephead without the motor running while anchored.

you can catch them on whatever lure or whatever bait! I think we all should stop fishing for walleyes, bass, and pannies and just fish for the fish that always bite no matter what!!! The sheepies taste the best too!

RR- make sure to give him [PoorWordUsage] about the slime he also got in his boat yesterday. laugh

I should note, since Mike can't defend himself ATM, that the kid in the boat with him caught the sheepie. His personal best was actually a 6" sunny.
I also had one boat side, a good 5 to 6lbs, broke my 8lb fireline as my son was trying to get the net to me.

I'm thinking a Rough Fish Get-Together may be in order.

Isn't Muddog trying for this record on Tetonka? Maybe he needs to come over to Farbo...

I was definitly in a bit of a slump this weekend I couldn't even catch a beer? Nice meeting you Matt way to snap that pic as I was throwing that nasty thing back. I definitly had slime everywhere. I've never seen a Pike that slimy. I took my boat out when that wind picked up on Saturday and never put it back in I didn't want to leave it tied to the dock. I did go out with another guy yesterday morning and herded up another one of those nice sheepies. Matt, If you want those spots on Gull shoot me an email pdogg56001atyahoodotcom
