i would allways tell me father in law that this is the worst weekend to try to go fishing in the whole year .......but he wants to go and wants to try to get a walleye so i think i will start really shallow wiht the crank bates and then as the lake kind of gos to bumber boats maby slowely move deeper .......i know people allways say right at sunset is one of the best times to be fsihing .......is sun rise just as good ?

Sun rise can be good I like sunset better. But being as sun rise is so early right now there will be way less boat traffic at that time!

with this heat now have the weeds been dieing down yet i have not been on the water in a while

Kinda depends on the lake but yes they have been dieing off.

Actually, there is a very good chance all of the boat traffic can and will drive many fish darn near to shore.

Here I always thought that they went to deeper water cover during heavy lake actvity or fishing pressure,although I realize all fish don't re-act to things the same way. L2f
