I am heading back to the IGL for a long weekend. I have not been there for quite some time, and the way it looks I think my buddy and I will focus on bass and maybe some panfish. Any advice on catching bass this time of year? Presentations and Locations to start off with? We will be staying on Lower Gar, so we will have easy access to all parts of the lake?
Advice for Smallies or Largemouth is greatly appreciated.
Also what might be some good spots to get my four year old daughter some sunfish and bluegills?
Thanks Walleye #1

Docks for green carp rock reefs and deep weedlines for smallies. Cant help with the gills I only target those in the winter and only when forced. Please CPR any muskies caught. We have been getting a few largies casting for muskies over the weeds to. Gull, Ft Dodge ect for smallmouth.

I'm not a bass guy, the ones I do catch are on baits I'm sure you don't have. Any of the points on West will or should hold smallies, I have heard theres a dock bite for Largemouth. Sorry I can't help with baits and presentations, bass just arent my thing.

How has the Musky bite been going? I have the equipment for that to, but normally use it on various lakes in Minnesota. If they are chomping I may give that a try as well.
