1st time at the park, looking to do some fishing, bass, walleye, catfish, looking for anything. Can you use a boat/motor in this area? Any info would be great. Thanks for the help.

If you are talking about Lindbergh State Park in Little Falls MN, the Mississippi River access is just south of the Lindbergh's house. You will have good walleye and small mouth bass fishing. Last bridge before the dam upstream is a good small mouth hole.

You'll have to down river a bit for walleyes. There's some deep water towards Blanchard dam. A few miles but it's a nice boat ride. Half mile south of the access there's a gas pipeline that's buried accross the river. Stay towards the west shoreline. Nice drop off where the fish hang under the current. This is a well known spot so I don't think I'm really giving up a secret. Have caught bass, walleye, northern there. Dam upstream is good as BobbyG said. There's a few nasty boulders that will take out your lower unit up that way. Also try east shore accross from the lindberg house and work it upstream 1/8-1/4 mile. Nice little bend there where I've pulled smallies. Have not seen the river there for a few weeks, but I can't imagine it being too high and fast right now. Bring some shad raps. You may lose a few. I've also had good luck with white hair jigs w/minnows/leeches.
