1st time at the park, looking to do some fishing, bass, walleye, catfish, looking for anything. Can you use a boat/motor in this area? Any info would be great. Thanks for the help.

coach, The access is right near the park (1/2 mile to the south). Boats of any size can use the access and river. Smallmouth and walleye fishing should be getting very good. The catfishing is getting better on this strech but is not a numbers streach yet. For smallmouth and walleyes you can drift or troll lindy's or spinners with a leech or crawler along the first break in about 13 ft of water and have plenty of luck. some also troll cranks and have good luck for bigger fish. You can also shore fish on the river side of the access and catch walleyes and smallmouth, sometimes in great numbers.
When will you be at the park, I have a few spots I can give up if interested.
