I claim ignorance, bass is bass to me, I have only accidentally caught them. Not for any reason other than I don't fish for them. But fishing the back areas of Mudhole Bay, I have caught plenty of bass, can't honestly say I remember any certain flavor of bass, just bass.hehehehehehe It has been quite a few years since I have fished back there as well, but I do recall a few times catching multiple. How often down here do you catch them?

So to rap up, there are BASS back there in Mudhole bay. White, Striped, Rock, Smallmouth, Largemouth, Pink with Purple Polkadots. To me in the end, they are bass. I do know the difference, but to tell the truth, honestly can't remember the specifics in Worthington. Have fun. I thought guys who fished for bass, just fished for bass of any flavor?????

I would like to fish for one of those Peacock bass though, those things look amazing. So the next time someone has a free seat to South America, let me know.

Hahahaha ya bass is bass to me....I've just never caught a smallmouth and I've heard they're just as fun as gettin into a big largemouth....either way it doesn't really matter to me also....peacock bass would be fun to catch, I agree....it's the whole getting down to the souther half of the world thing that's an obstacle....hey...does anyone know if there is any good crappie fishin from shore anywhere down by worthington right now...I'll be in town this weekend and if I got time I wouldn't mind fryin up some nice ones....any word is appreciated!!

Haven't heard of any crappies being caught but I did hear of a nice 28" walleye making it into a boat last Thursday. Other than that fish, it has been fairly slow from reports I have heard.

Bassmasher, sometimes it gets kind of boring catching a fish on every cast. So sometimes it is more fun to have a challenge.

I just drove by Sunset Bay AKA "Mudhole" bay last Sunday. Tell me - where is the access?

correct, no access from the lake, unless you drop in a duck boat or canoe/kayak.
