Darn walleye insider. Gets me all excited and now I have to wait for it to come out. Casting cranks in shallow with these will never be the same. Anybody know when they might come out? I didn't have time to finish reading the article. Also darn you TO stupid shallow walleye bite. grin

Looks like I'll need to reorganize the shad rap crank box to find a couple spots soon. laugh

They will be just another tool in the shed, I don't think any lure is ever going to take over the shallow walleye fishing scene, they are way to moody....

Check out the x-rap shad colors rr there a lot of good ones for that mud bowl you like to fish grin I think it will be a really nice tool to have in the shed being all plastic and such.

It looks just like the X-Rap Shad but has the shallow bill. Check out Rapala's website.

I've only ever needed 4 colors the way it is, but maybe it's time to expand...

They also have a new style lip on these to give it more of an erratic action trolling and casting. Definitely something to try out.

I would guess similar to the normal x-rap, 3-5ft, but in that shallow of water, just getting the lure close is all it takes.
