Winnie, Leech and Sand Lake report
Winnie has finally started making the big move. The fish have really started to show up on the bars and humps out in the main lake. We have been using either a 3/8 oz northland gumball jig or shiner or a lindy with a leech. Most of the fish have been coming out of that 21-ft of water right on the edge of the humps. We are still getting some fish on the shoreline when the wind blows but our best has been out deep. Leech still has been decent when the wind blows with a jig and minnow, mostly in the 6-12 ft depths. I don’t know how long the bite will last in the bay but if the wind howls you might want to try it. Sand lake has still been producing some good fish, mostly in the deeper water on the bars or main lake points. We have been catching them anywhere from 7- 23 ft still using a 1/8-oz fireball and a shiner. It will probably be the last week for the shiners they have been pulling the traps so the minnow bite might slow alittle for awhile. Good luck fishing Jason Boser mnfishing pros

Hey Jason, the Winnie report is consistent with what I've been hearing. Hittin' the humps in 19-24' of water with crawlers. Ravens along the west shore was also producing well in 8-14' of water.
