I fished out of the state park. What a circus that place was at sundown. 7 people were fishing off the 2 points beside the docks and the docks. Also sand fill up the west slip and I dont know what happened to the east slip. My trailer was at a 20* angle but I just loaded the boat and left. Fish bit well in the morning but slowed way down by 10am. Very healthy walleye population in that lake. The scuds were just covering any sticks that I snagged so maybe that explains why. I also caught a northern thats my first one from Thompson in about 5 years. I was gonna stay and fish Sunday also but with the headache the ramp was I just went home. It was so slow in the afternoon I fell asleep in the boat and couldnt figure out who was yelling at me. It was the GFP. They have a nice Warrior. It was a gorgeous day on the lake all things considered. Good luck if you go.
