My bro-in-law fished it opener. Didn't catch squat. First time he ever fished it though. He talked to a C.O. that said it was slow all over the lake.

I could not make it to Wabana for opener this year but my buddy still went and he pounded the eyes.
He was fishing near the openings of Little Trout and Big Trout casting cranks to shallow water. I wish I was there.

I was there last weekend and have never fished a lake like this. So clear and weeds already in 14' of water. It was crippling, but presenting another challenge to try figure out how to fish them. I did see the panfish were schooled in the shallows along with a few bass....
