Also some are saying they are having a leaking problem around the lid, I know for storage at least, it would be better to have screw on lids, who wants to spend that kind of money and then have to improve on the container...

I've done the same maybe 10 times look at the product and said do I want to waste 20 bucks and every time I walk away. I'm going up to red the first of June and I'm going to try the small minnow. We go thru so many minnows that if these work it would be well worth it.

Definitely a leaking problem, I keep them in the livewell, I don't like getting that stuff all over in storage compartments & they are screw on lids, you just have to really wrench on them tight. I can see I will be switching to another container. Depending on howw they work this year will determine if I spend that kind of money again. In time they will come down. L2f

Best way to keep the lids from leaking is when you first peel back the foil top, don't take it all the way off. Just peel back 1/3 to 1/2 the lid and then put it back down before you screw the lid on. It will form a tighter seal and keep the bucket from leaking.

The gulp products are the real deal though. One of my go to's when I need to catch a fish.

I suppose a little leaking can help your hands to smell tasty to a fish. I haven't tried the leeches yet, but the 3" black shad were really working well last Friday for crappies, pike, and accidental bass. I fished for quite a few hours and only went through 4 of them. They hold up pretty well until a bass or pike chomps on them good.
