Hokey smokes for big fish again and big weights at the spring
classic.
6 fish limit with the LOW slot you would think 27 pounds would
not be possible. Roseau's Jamie Lisel and Todd Hage weighed
27.58 pounds to take the day one lead.
2nd...Axten and Peloquin from Blaine fresh from last years
success weigh 24.31 pounds
3rd...Johassen from Rainy River and Sindelir from Baudette
with 2 more big fish weigh 21.65 pounds.
4....Lindholm and Prickett from TRF 17.93 pounds
5th..Briggs from Baudette and Oldakowski from Ham Lake 17.9
24 of the 25 teams entered caught limits, the final team
weighed 5.
Breezy but fishable all day....not to bad.

Cool some good weights. With so many big fish being caught still prespawn I was figuring someone would pull a thirty pound basket actually!
I'm not sure but are'nt the teams allowed 2 overs?
