Sometimes it takes a few days or more for those who are fishing the lake being asked about to get a reply. I would have been more than happy to have answered your question but I quit fishing the lake.

Please be patient and the replies will come.

I would bet it would be safe to assume that with these water temps rising that you wil find the panfish in pretty shallow or staging at the first break. Thats at least where I would start. For eyes, I would start by saying good luck.

I have fished this lake for many years and if you would like some information on it, shoot me an e-mail and I can maybe be of some help.

I have not seen to may panfish in shallow when I have been out there, but that could have changed with the warmer weather.

The lake is green just like it was in some spots this winter. The other lakes I have fished on so far this year are very clear. Why would Washington be so green?

Fished it last weekend and found some bass while casting cranks and x-raps for walleye, but nothing else. Heard some people are catching some eyes off 3rd point.

7outof10,

How much do you know about the status of vegetation, the tiling system and phosphorous levels in Lake Washington? I'm guessing your comments are being backed by frustration and not facts. Please click on the link below, thoroughly read through that and then if you have questions, send me an e-mail at info@tightlinesguiding.com. Thank you.

we should not be spraying our lakes with chemicals bottom line.

I totally agree 100%. Years from now they will say that the chemicals are bad. Seems like the chemicals all have a bad side and they tend to only look at the results for now that are positive.

I would rather see the lakes left alone as far as chemical and man goes and let Mother nature take it course. Man usually messes things up.

First we dump junk into the lakes and then we dump chemicals in to clean it all up. Then we all wonder why we have issues.

The real fact is that man is the true problem.

don't know about spraying weeds but bottom line is that lake is already green ,has scum floating on it and stinks like a sewer. was on it last tuesday and no plans on going back.

I was thinking of going there on Wednesday but if thats the case, I will leave the lake be. Sure use to be a nice lake.

It's really sad that a very nice clean lake like this has to go the direction it is.

So, if Washington is murky and many of the other area lakes are still clear, what does this mean?
