We were out yesterday on the Mississippi and were floating South of Monticello. I was facing one shoreline (South) and my buddy was facing the other shoreline. I looked up at one of the houses on the bank - and there in the middle of the yard was a completely naked guy leaning against his flag pole and smiling and watching us. i told my buddy, he didnt belive me and by the time he finally turned around we had floated down past where you couldnt see the yard anymore. We fished for about an hour and then I we went back upstream. I still really wasnt sure that I really saw what I thought I did. So, we motored back up and when we got to the yard - no naked guy. My friend was giving me grief about whether or not I really saw thi guy - when suddenly from a lawn chair in the yard - the guys stands up - completely naked - wallks to the edge of his yard real quick and starts waving at us!! Almost like he wanted us to stop and say hello. Needless to say we didnt - and kept motoring up stream. The 2 of us stil couldnt belibe what we saw and it was even funnier today when we were talking about it again. So, if you are running South or Monticello - beware of the naked guy!!

Hahhh... I saw him last year, only he was in his skivvies, we were drifting and all the sudden my boss goes You gotta see this, I turned around and said, What? There was a guy standing in the river in his skivies just staring at us, when we drifted back there my boss starts talking to the guy, I turned the TM on high and got the f out of there grin.

If you were to say this up in Champlin I would have said you found MSRD's house grin grin

yeah - we had to go back upstream anyway - I suppose we could have taken the other shoreline - but this was kind of like having to watch a bad accident or something - I just had to see if what I saw the first time was real - didnt really want to see the naked guy himself - just see if this was actually really happening if that makes sense.

I can say this - my luck has always been bad - its my luck to see an old naked guy - when if this happened to my other buddies they would have called me about the 22 year old jessica simpson look alike they saw running naked in her back yard - darn the bad luck!

Why do folks keep finding those guys up around ER? crazy

We saw that last year on the river, except standing on the bank drooling and taking pictures of the man was river rat316 in a pink dress that said "fly fishermen rule"

Strangely enough, a similar thing happened to me last year, only the guy was out IN the river wearing nothing but a snorkel and flippers. I know he was ONLY wearing a snorkel and flippers because he was laying on his back on a rock.

Weird. And I was glad I didn't have any kids along.

I'm not sure what he was doing. Well, he was creeping me out, that's what he was doing.
