... do you think will be best for largemouth?

Will the small shallower, therefore warmer, lakes be better? Or will it be warm enough by then not to give the small lakes an advantage? Also, has the cold slowed aquatic cover growth considerably. I was thinking of going to White Bear, as I've had success there in the past, but maybe I should try a shallower lake ... say, Turtle?

I think that it would be hard to go wrong with any lake you choose as long as it has a decent population of bass in it. Many of the metro lake will be in full spawn when bass opener happens.
