Hey guys I have a question. I wanted to fish the pond with my daughter and I think that it was stocked with trout. Do I need to have a trout stamp to fish it? I remember seeing a post on it last year or the year before I just couldn't find it when I searched for it thanks

actually no, I don't think you do need a trout stamp because it is between the tracks therefore it is a border water. That's what the sign at the pond said last year. I would contact the DNR just to be sure, otherwise I'm sure if you stopped at 4 season's they would steer you in the right direction.

To be honest with you they are a little more difficult to target this time of the year as they are stocked. Everytime I take my daughter out there we always just catch sunnies, crappies or bass. Caught a pretty nice bass last spring. Seems like the Trout are easier to catch when they have just been released (the winter). We did fairly well this past winter when they stocked it for the kids tournament, she caught 4 in one outing. There is a relatively deep whole just right of the middle of the dock where you can see some of them swimming around in, that is if the algae hasn't bloomed yet.
