Anyone ever use Ethos gas saver seen it on the internet it seems expensive but how well does it work. They say it saves you up to 20 cents a gallon.

I have heard of it, but I dont think additives will increase your milage much if at all. Your best bet is tire inflation, tune up, and slow down, slower take offs. These few things will save you alot more then anything that comes from a bottle, in my opinion!

I just got done taking a close hard look at their site, and have come to the conclusion that is is snake oil. If you don't know what I mean by the term "snake oil", years ago there were traveling medicine shows where unscrupulous salesmen would put on an extravagent show extolling the benefits of any number of liquids and powders and such. One of the more popular products was Snake Oil. They would use "testimonials", lofty claims, and pummel people with windmilling nonsense. A lot of the times the products they would try to sell are now known to be rather hazardous. At any rate, they would put on a long yet entertaining show, and at the end would ask who would want some. People would clamor for the product, basically "under the ether" (a sales slang-I used to sell cars and one of the things I was taught was to "hit 'em before the ether wears off"), and would pay outragous prices for stuff they later found was worthless. Just be wary, as you already are in asking. There's an old saying that goes "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is".

Agreed, Snake Oil. I'm pretty sure looking at the site would not change my mind as well.

Driving habits will make a bigger difference than anything you can put in the tank. A good example is our minivan. I'm not picking on my wife but she drives it like she just robbed a bank and has 13 highway patrol chasing her. According to the mileage calculator she averages 16 - 18. I can drive it and average 21-23.
