Our group is coming up mid-July. Mukooda sounds like a lake worth trying for a daytrip, but wondering if there is a lake we may want to fly in to for a day's worth of fishing.

We're staying on Crane and I hear they have a seaplane base there so I thought I'd ask. Thanks.

a fly in out of crane would mean going to the canadian side. gonna get a little pricey. if you want to boat in on the canadian side, call sand point lodge and ask about their boats on lilac, mud turtle or little eva.

Mukooda is definitely worth a day. If you want to fly somewhere on the Canadian side there are lots of options including Thompson, a big lake with good fishing that's about a 2 minute flight.

You can try Cambells Cabins on LaCriox. They fly guests in and out of Scotts seaplane base. I'm sure you can find them online.

Had a super day bass fishing on Lilac two years ago . . opening day of Canadian bass was June 1st, and my son and I were the first ones in . . . very nice trip to get to Lilac, easy portage, and a very pretty lake. Was a great memory to have . . .
