What has everyone been seeing as an average for water temps. I've been to two different lakes and the warmest I've seen it is 49. But on average it's been 45-46.

Slow for us. My son and I went for about 4 hours. Marked lots of fish and pulled cranks, drifted Lindys, and slip bobbed shiners off a point. Only one bite and that was on a lindy with gumdrop floater/leech. Most fish we marked were in 13 fow and a lot of suspended fish from 7-10 feet down. A guy pulling cranks along the same shore lost one at the boat. I talked with 2 guys at the launch that had caught 4 eyes on slip bobbers tight to the reeds in the "middle" section and they had fatheads in the bucket.

I fished a lake all weekend it was 55 on average and we had way better luck. a dozen walleyes, the biggest was a nice 26 incher. We also caught a lot of crappies.
