Anybody fish this lately or got any tips?

Never fished it in my life, but I hear it's got a great walleye population. My brother works for the Fisheries dept, and they said it's a lake with a good population, but no I don't have any tips for ya.

I will be fishing it this weekend. Our deer camp is on the lake. We'll have about 3-5 boats out so I'll have a decent report for you on Monday.

We fished it quite a bit this winter, but with not a lot of luck. after talking with the resort, the winter bite stunk.

round used to have really big slabbs and good walleyes and nice sunnies grew up fishing the lake but last year the lake is overrun by hammerhandles can't keep them off the line. but some tips the east side of the lake there is an suncken island off a channel that runs to the southeast. and off the boyscout camp is another good place to get some eyes than on the west side there is an bullrush point that runs out we used to pic up some nice eyes there to. off the island is where we used to get some nice 15" slabbs. don't know much else to let you know hope it helps.

try trolling some shad raps on the point inbetween both of the bays if raps arnt working yet either jig with a leech or a spinner with a worm on it. be in about 17-21 feet of water thats what worked for me last spring there and durin the summer to

Didnt get a chance to go out on round over the weekend. Did go out on many point tho. Three fish a bass a 35inch northern and a 27 1/4 Walleye. All came in 7 to 10 fow while Crappie fishing and in the same spot. No crappies tho I moved out some and did manage another walleye a 16 incher for the frying pan to go along the others i caught on sallie in DL. But it was pretty slow and the wind sucked.
